General Performance Appearance
Choir outfits create a professional look
for concerts. We are fortunate that Scottsbluff owns
outfits for this purpose. Each student will be issued
parts of a performance outfit and will be expected to provide
part of the outfit.
- Students who lose or damage the uniform will pay the
replacement cost of the uniform.
- Dress uniforms are the property of Scottsbluff Public
Schools. They are considered equipment and should only be
worn during choir performances.
- Uniforms must be kept neat and clean while in the
student's possession. When not in use, the uniform
is to be kept neatly hanging.
- When wearing the uniform, female students may wear small
stud earrings (show choir is not included in this).
No necklaces, watches, or bracelets will be permitted.
- Hair should be clean, well groomed, and out of the
eyes. Hair must be an up-do for females.
- No bows or ornaments shall be worn for performances.
- Males should be clean shaven. No facial hair of
any kind is allowed for performances.
- Students may not wear cologne or perfume of any
kind. Hair spray, nail polish, or any product with
fragrance should not be applied around other people.
This is out of consideration for those with allergies.
- Violations of the above standards of grooming will
result in deduction of points for performance and may
result in loss of performance privileges or removal from a
choir.
Women:
- Black dress shoes with a low heel
- Tan nylons (show choir tights will work)
- white button down shirt (full sleeve/MUST have a top
button)
- Black skirt (MUST be knee length)
- Cummerbund & Bow Tie (Checked out from the school)
Men:
- Black dress shoes
- Black dress socks
- white button down dress shirt
- black dress pants
- Cummerbund & Bow Tie (Checked out from the school)
- Black dress shoes with a low heel
- Tan nylons (show choir tights will work)
- Black Concert Dress (checked out from the school)
Men:
